Pleasant Cove Nursery: A Legacy of Excellence
Founded in 1957 by the late John R. Collier Sr. and his wife Elma in the scenic landscape of Rock Island, Tennessee, Pleasant Cove Nursery began as a modest backyard operation. With the dedication of their sons—John Jr., Robert, David, and Frank—the nursery flourished, incorporating in 1969 and growing into an 850-acre facility complete with its own propagation division. Over the years, Pleasant Cove earned a reputation as a premier grower of landscape and ornamental nursery stock, cultivating more than 400 varieties.
Today, under the stewardship of the Hines Family, Pleasant Cove/Easy Tree Nursery proudly upholds the tradition of excellence established by the Colliers. As a leader in the U.S. horticulture industry, we remain committed to producing premium-quality plants, offering exceptional customer service, and pioneering innovative growing techniques. Our diverse and expanding production includes container-grown shrubs, pot-in-pot container-grown trees, and B&B (balled and burlapped) tree and shrub offerings.
